There it grows in tea gardens near the city whose name it bears: Darjeeling. On the southern slopes of the world's highest mountain range - the Himalayas. Mountainous, cool, foggy. This is why the evergreen tea plant Camellia sinensis only grows slowly there. With smaller leaves, but particularly aromatic. Mostly women pick them carefully. And mostly by hand. But the effort is worth it: first-class quality and exquisite taste. This is what characterizes the Darjeeling. A true luxury product. It is considered to be one of the finest types of tea.
