Three ingredients. Three countries. This is our "Fennel Anise Elixir". Fennel and anise come from Egypt and Turkey. The caraway comes from Finland. All three grow in fields. Fennel is mainly found in Mediterranean areas. It needs warm, nutrient-rich soil. Harvest time is at the end of September. The seeds go into the tea. For this, the umbels are dried upside down. Anise originally comes from the eastern Mediterranean. Türkiye, Spain, Hungary, Lebanon and Egypt. It is now mainly grown there. You also need the seeds of the anise for the tea. Cut umbels, dry, collect seeds. This is what his harvest looks like in early autumn. And the cumin. It comes from the Near East and the Mediterranean countries. However, today it is grown as far away as Europe and Siberia. It needs loamy, sandy soil. The Finnish caraway is of first class quality. That's why it's in our tea.
